If you don’t want to get more spoiled with some additional or extended scenes from the original trailer, than you probably don’t want to see these screencaps from the international trailer of Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters. But if you do, check them out after the jump! You can even see that some of them have the orange Camp Half-Blood t-shirts!
I must say that if Nathan Fillion is in it, then it must be better! And it’s nice you get to see more of him as Hermes in this trailer, as well as Jake Abel as Luke Castellan, Anthony Head as Chiron, and rainbow ponies!
What do you think now?
Did you hear the good news? We’ll get to see Percy Jackson, Annabeth Chase, Grover, and the rest of the Camp Half-Blood one week earlier than originally planned! Yep, that’s right. Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters will now open in theaters on August 7th instead of August 16th.
You PJatO fans have already been giving some positive, maybe sometimes cautiously optimistic, comments on this sequel to Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief. Some of you may have even wondered how it’s possible they agreed to go ahead with a second movie, considering that many of you did not like how the first book was adapted, but enough wondering and just accept. It’s happening, and you’re going to get to see it.
We’ll have the return of actors Logan Lerman, Alexandra Daddario, and Brandon T. Jackson, the three friends on their search for the Golden Fleece this time around. Jake Abel will also return as Luke Castellan, the demigod that betrayed Percy in the first film. Joining them are Stanley Tucci, Nathan Fillion, Anthony Head, Leven Rambin, Missi Pyle, Daniel Cudmore, Yvette Nicole Brown, Grey Damon, and Douglas Smith, who will be playing Tyson, a cyclops that Percy befriends.
Interesting pictures posted by Grey Damon from the set in New Orleans have surfaced! Just what is that blue light?! Just what is Gray Damon doing on set?! Leave your guesses in the comments!
Just Jared Jr. must have someone on the set 24-7 to grab all these shots, but hey, as long as they’re not imposing, I don’t think I mind too much, and neither do you. So, here’s more pictures, including some of Leven Rambin in costume as Clarisse La Rue, and Jake Abel, who plays Luke Castellan, either leaving or going to the set.
